1. Progress is improving a thing or society a little bit as a time; moving forward.
2. The progressive era was a time in the United States that was widely based on social activism and political reform from the 1890's to 1920's.
3. During the progressive era they exposed corruption in the government. They believed that family was the base stone of America so they decreased average working time so that people could spend time with families. They also tried to permanently fix their reforms into law through the 16-19 amendments. They created prohibition, which outlawed the manufacture, sale and transport of alcohol.
4. A lot of the reforms were about to ban or fix things in the country to fix the corruption.
5. Their idea for creating more family time is a good idea but not that important for the success of the country. Putting the reforms into law would be a important task. The creation of prohibition would go would with family which is not that important.
